Welcome back to Your Clay Project! I don’t know if you know this, but this website existed for many years as a static site, designed and lovingly hand-coded in vintage HTML by yours truly. Then in 2012, I took the site down – fortunately, stored it in its entirety on my laptop computer. Now it’s 2014 and I thought it was time to once again create an online home for “wayward grade school pottery.”
So, Your Clay Project is back – this time as a haven not only for the bits and pieces of childhood creativity that I have collected… but for your pieces, too! If you have projects made by your kids… yourself when you were little… or that you’ve found (as I have) in thrift stores and yard sales… I would LOVE to feature them here! Just use the email link below to send me a couple photos and some information about the piece – who made it, how you came to own it, its size, colors, special techniques used, things like that.
